you really need more money than $ 15,000 to be honest.

Wow!! $ 15,000 is A GRIP that I could never spend on a wedding myself.
But it looks as if you’re getting a lot for your money. And if you can afford it, why not? I hate when people give others a hard time for spending their money the way they see fit.
Sounds beautiful
I say if you have the money, go for it! But be sure that you still staying on budget
My venue is 5k and it as an absolutely beautiful historic temple. I know others who spend 10k on a venue that doesn’t even provide you with tables and chairs. It is your wedding, have it where you would be happy, so there is no regrets
Weddings add up! depends what kind of food you provide. I’m going cheaper on the venue but I’m having a band – 5k, banquet dinner for my guests and open bar – 20 k, flowers/photo/video – 10k…. decorations, invitations, limo etc… we’re already looking at close to 50 thousand dollar wedding.
If it includes all that, thats OKAY, especially for 10 rooms, super expensive Chiavari chairs, but if your head count is 275, your per person food charge will be HUGE. One BIG bill will be your open bar tab, I’m not sure if it’s included in here. Another massive expense will be photography, usually around $ 2500 to $ 3k. What about table favors? Rehearsal DINNER included? Or just the time for rehearsal? DJ is another $ 550, flowers (unless you make your own, which I did) for that many tables will be huge. Is a lot of that stuff stuff you really dont need? Emergency backup generator? Rainplan? Liquors at coffee station? People will want open bar, period.
tack on another 1000 for the cake.
edit: 15 THOUSAND dollars. that’s 5 months of my take home pay!
Its a bit much considering there is no food included in the price.
There are some venues that require you to have to guarantee a certain amount of guests or they charge much more, but still usually the food is included in that.
I do see that it is allowing a lot of things for overnight guests I’m thinking this is where some of the fee is higher.
What area are you in? As with anything else, if the cost of living is higher the cost of your venue will be as ell.
I’d pass on the facility if it was my own wedding.
It really depends on your total budget. You definitely get a lot for the price but I’d be a little worried because it doesn’t include food. However it’s really cool that it includes the suites for the bride and groom to get ready and the hotel rooms for the overnight guests.
$ 15,000 is way too much if there’s no food involved.
